PUPPY & ADULT MANNERS
Pups 9-19 weeks old and their owners learn how to promote attention and focus. Positive reinforcement using praise, food and petting for good behavior. Goals for this class are: Socialization with other pups, Self control, Focus/attention, Loose Leash Walking, Sit, Down, Stay, Recall
Foundations 1 - Manners
Owners will earn how to mark desired behaviors with verbal/toy/food rewards. Learn basic handling skills, such as targeting, attention & focus, self-control games for dogs and more. Includes loose-leash walking, sit/down/stay, coming when called, sitting at doorways, sitting politely for petting
Foundations 2 - Canine Good Citizen
Learn the skills for your dog to be a Canine Good Citizen. Graduates of Foundations 1 will polish their skills and build confidence for better behavior at home and in public. Addition of mat work, polite greetings, and more demanding distraction work including food and toys.
Foundations 3 - Therapy Dog Prep
Prerequisite Foundations 2 or Instructor Permission.
Learn and practice focus & attention, distraction work, loose leash heeling, recalls, and more. This class is perfect for those needing the obedience skills and practice to take the Therapy Dog Test.
Foundations 4 - Beginner Novice & Intro to Rally
Prerequisite: Foundations 2 or Instructor Permission.
This class will refine loose leash walking skills including auto sit upon halt, introduce basic Rally signs(including right/left turns, halts, about turns) intro to figure 8 heeling, controlled sit for exam/petting, sit/stay and down/stay at distance and off-leash recalls
Skills / Intro to Agility
Dogs must be 9 months of age or older and be able to sit,down, stay, come when called with other dogs nearby. Learn start line stays with distractions, call to heel, Intro to crosses (front, rear & blind), Tunnel, One jump skills, Planks, Table, A-frame, Dogwalk, Teeter at low height. Most students stay at this level for 2-6 sessions
Build strong foundation skills including safe and reliable contact performance ( 2 on, 2 off and running), weaves (2x2 method), turning and side changes (FC, RC, BC), correct cueing, sequence recognition and basic handling using mini courses.
Our goal is to build teams comfortable with all equipment that are ready to progress onto more advanced coursework. This class is progressive in nature.
Practice flatwork, crosses and sequences on full-height AKC regulation obstacles. Run increasingly complicated sequences. Analyze courses for competition or fun. Build on prior skills learned in Beginning Agility. For those ready to show/already showing in Novice and/or Open or equivalent skill level.
We will continue to work on contact and jumping skills via specific drills. Introduction to distance work and refinement of cues while on the move. Analyze & practice increasingly complicated sequences for competition or just for fun.

Advanced Workshop 1 (daytime) and 2 (evening)
Advanced heeling skills, attention work as well as footwork, handling skills and basic rally skills as they relate to obedience are covered. Basic jumping, recalls and target work are introduced. The class is geared to the pet owner who wants to do more with their dog as well as individual teams who want to perfect their skills in the competition ring. The workshop format allows handler/dog teams to work at their own pace.
Open /Utility Workshop
Learn and perfect more advanced skills needed for AKC, CKC, UKC open and/or utility. Whether your goal is competing or just for fun this class will provide upper level instruction. The workshop format allows handler/dog teams to work at their own pace.
